I am a first grade teacher who has rediscovered a love for firsties this year. I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, first grade and even second over the past 16 years.
I have been married for 17 years to my wonderful husband and have been blessed with 2 very active boys.
I am joining the fun with Miss DeCarbo over at Sugar and Spice!
We are using flip books at the Writing Center this week to retell the beginning, middle and end of Little Red Riding Hood! I love the simplicity of flip books and kids love the novelty of the flip!
Do you ever use flip books in your classroom? Please share!!
Flipbooks are great for so many things! I've loved using them in math, writing, and reading! I think sometimes simple is better, and this is a great example. Thanks for sharing! -Lindsey It's Elementary, My Dear! Wordless Wednesday
Hi Tammy,
ReplyDeleteI haven't used flip books. I teach middle school. I can certainly see how I can adapt it to my kiddos. Thank you for the idea.
